Swap charges are applied at 00:00 server time (GMT+2/GMT+3 during DST) when positions are held overnight. On Wednesdays, triple swap is charged to account for the weekend.
Swap = (One Point / Exchange Rate) × Trade Size × Swap Rate in Points. The rate depends on interest rate differentials between the two currencies in the pair.
You earn interest when holding positions in certain directions, typically when buying currencies with higher interest rates.
You pay interest when holding positions overnight, common when selling currencies with higher interest rates.
No swap charges apply, available on our Swap-Free accounts for traders who cannot pay or receive interest.
